VDS provides sports graphics suite to Fight Network

Video Design Software has provided a suite of sports graphics applications for the Fight Network in Toronto. The suite comprises the GameTrak client/server suite, which parses data from sports data providers; the SportBase database, a VDS graphics engine that will make use of the Chyron CAL programming interface; and the VDS Ticker playout controller.
Using the ticker authoring application, production personnel can select games and schedules to be displayed, enter game notes and statistics, insert promos and sponsors, and enter generic news into one or more playlists to be displayed in the ticker. Additional features of the ticker include the ability to insert live, breaking news immediately.
