Belgian cable broadcaster VMMa is expanding its existing SeaChange play-to-air platform to support its standardization of the Sony XDCAM HD playout for its three channels — vtm, 2BE and JIM.

VMMa is deploying SeaChange’s Broadcast MediaLibrary/MediaClient playout architecture, which will be driven by Omnibus automation and Front Porch Digital asset management. Storage for edit-in-place applications is based upon the DataDirect Networks high-speed S2A (Silicon Storage Architecture).
