Volicon has shipped more than 500 channels of its Observer desktop video-monitoring system since the product's introduction at NAB2005. The Observer can monitor, record, archive and stream content from one to hundreds of channels to ordinary desktop computers, making content available on demand, live or archived, from any desktop.

The Observer also allows users to ensure high-quality service through both local and remote channel monitoring. Broadcasters, media companies and cable MSOs across the globe can now use the Observer to capture and view multiple channels, monitor transmissions of multiple stations and compare their programming to that of their competitors.
