WASP3D previewed version 1.4 of its real-time 3-D graphics solution at IBC2007. One new key feature is Wasp Asset eXchange (WAX). WAX is a tool designed for sharing, managing and distributing graphical media assets across local and remote locations. The tool streamlines the process of data cataloguing and storage translating into easier access and distribution of images, video and graphic templates.

Other new features of v1.4 include parametric wiring, which helps in creating pie graphics; unified template builder, for faster delivery; real-time shadow effects; and self-shadowing and explode effects.
