WTVF in Nashville, TN, has upgraded its autoXe automation system with integrated satellite dish control that allows the station to control its satellite receivers, which are a key component in the signal path.

The CompuSat satellite system and attendant interface are integrated as a client on the network allowing WTVF complete control of its satellite feeds through the autoXe system. WTVF is also taking advantage of the autoXe hands-free content delivery from Pathfire to ingest video files and metadata into its on-air servers and automation system.
