WTVision is supporting the broadcast of the 2009 Gulf Cup in Oman. Held Jan. 2-17 in Oman, it includes basketball, football, handball and volleyball. WTVision is responsible for the gathering and broadcast of all the statistics of the four different sports using its SportStats real-time scouting system, which enables the broadcast of player lineups, individual, collective stats and results in real time.
The tournament is being transmitted by Aljazeera in HD. WTVision is using Deltacast technology to enhance the Aljazeera offering to its viewers with virtual graphics for free kicks and off-side line detection.
