Scripps Networks has successfully completed its first year using XOrbit's ProofPositive live-to-air content delivery confirmation system. Scripps Networks approached XOrbit with a growing need to validate the playback of its content in various locations. The result was ProofPositive, a new approach to playlist reconciliation that instantly validates the correct delivery of content from the cable network's operations center to the viewer's home.

ProofPositive identifies particular attributes of the master signal and compares them to downlinked signals around the country. If a delivered signal does not match the master broadcast stream, the system automatically e-mails an error notification to the cable network. ProofPositive's technology enables it to adapt to variations in time zones, transmission delays and other timing issues.
