Ascent Media chooses TransMedia Dynamics for UK's Five channel

Ascent Media is using TMD’s Mediaflex system for media asset and workflow management.
TransMedia Dynamics was awarded a contract with Ascent Media Network Services Europe (AMNSE). TMD will supply and implement its Mediaflex media asset management and workflow system for UK network, Five.
Five broadcasts a wide schedule of news, current affairs, arts, children's and science programs, as well as sports coverage, movies and acquired programming.
Mediaflex replaces several different systems with a unitary solution to manage both tape and file-based media. The system goes live July 2005 and will interface with the Pro-Bel automation system used to control Five's playout to air and corporate scheduling system.
