Barco shows new Broadcast Monitoring System

Sep 13, 2006 8:00 AM

Barco showed its new Networked Broadcast Monitoring System for facility-wide monitoring at IBC. The Networked Broadcast Monitoring System, namely Barco’s NG Series, was also demonstrated live at the show. Whether online or offline, editors and post-production staff need to view multiple sources simultaneously, preferably within a limited viewing field. At live events, sports journalists need to see several views of the action on one display. Combining all camera views on a single screen ensures more accurate, exciting and up-to-date coverage of events.

Alongside, Barco featured its Encore controller. The system provides source selection, advanced windowing features, seamless switching, video effects and integrated control for any professional environment.
