Télévision Suisse Romande (TSR) has contracted German systems provider BFE to replace its existing broadcast center in Geneva. The modernization includes a new control room, playout automation including two fully equipped backup channels for TSR1 and TSR2, and two small studios with a production control room and an ingest area.
Playout will use SGT VEDA automation controlling a Harris NEXIO server and Miranda Imagestore 750 master control switcher with Miranda Kaleido-X multiviewer to monitor the system.
BFE’ s KSC Commander and KSC Manager router control and signal management systems constitute the core of the commutation room. TSR is also purchasing Snell Sirius and Cygnus routers, STAGETEC NEXUS audio routing and Jünger C 8000 audio processing.
