Bite TV sinks teeth into automation

Bite TV has selected Crispin to streamline operations and provide support for on-air playback.

Bite TV is using Crispin automation to support one channel for on-air playback. The Crispin solution includes one workstation, focused on on-air playback and device control.

Crispin’s on-air playback application, RapidPlayX, provides playlist monitoring and control for one on-air channel, allowing Bite TV to create and load playlists, edit events, issue playlist commands and monitor event status.

RapidPlayX automatically loads daily program and record schedules for 24-hour operations and instantly updates events when new material is available on the video server. Crispin’s four-port DeviceServer controls a Sony VTR, and a VR-300, VIA router and a LogoMotion from Leitch.
