Blitz, one of the UK's leading providers of A/V equipment and services, has installed a Chyron HyperX HD/SD-switchable graphics system, with Lyric PRO, to provide sophisticated, live 3-D graphics and animations for many of Europe’s major sporting events.

The first outing for the new HyperX was the French Open Tennis Tournament held at Roland Garros, Paris. The system, which will be used for both outside broadcast and studio production, will return to France in September to provide HD graphics creation and playout for the Rugby World Cup.
