SMPTE’s BXF Working Group recently assembled in Austin, TX, to officially start work on the BXF 2.0 standard. The original BXF standard, officially published last year, was established to create a common means for systems such as traffic, content management, content delivery and automation to communicate with each other.
As 2009 has demonstrated, technology and workflows are continually evolving to keep pace with the media evolution that is progressing in the broadcast market.
