Chyron unveils Channel Box with VDS Promoter integration

VDS adds new features to Chyron Channel Box with the Promoter software suite.

Chyron has integrated its turnkey branding system, Channel Box, with Video Design Software’s (VDS) Promotor Auto-Promo Generation suite of applications. Channel Box’s real-time video, graphics effects, clips and audio can be integrated with automation systems, or can be used as a standalone branding device. Combined with VDS’ Promoter software suite, they provide an end-to-end solution solving business rules management, and connection issues with support for complex animation sequences triggered by automation entries, without tying up automation secondary events, in a well managed package for significant return on investment.

Key features of the Channel Box/Promotor solution include: end-to-end automatic promo generation and playout with business rules management and distributed administration. The Channel Box system also features improved functionality for feeds from AP News and RSS.
