Crispin has added Rapid Collector, a diagnostic and reporting application, to Crispin 4 Life, Crispin’s free 24/7 support plan. Through the use of a simple user interface, Crispin clients now have the ability to rapidly collect device and application logs along with system information for diagnostic purposes. Clients are able to input additional details including operator name, contact information, date and time the incident occurred and provide a description of what happened..
Once collected, this information can be sent immediately to Crispin from any Internet-enabled workstation. If a customer is on a closed network, they can sneakernet to an Internet-enabled workstation. Rapid Collector conveniently packages the information in a zipped file and sends it via FTP to Crispin for diagnosis. Rapid Collector further strengthens Crispin 4 Life through rapid analysis of customer-reported anomalies and swift collection of device and application logs for diagnostic purposes.
