Dalet Digital Media Systems showed an expanded family of DaletPlus broadcast products at the BroadcastAsia2005 conference.

New to the DaletPlus family is DaletPlus InterWeb, a new multi-location media asset management and production solution. Entire production teams can collaboratively prepare news stories by directly accessing station source materials securely from a standard Web browser.

Also making its debut at the conference was DaletPlus News Library, an asset management and archive system designed for television news operations. DaletPlus News Library provides a cost-efficient solution for archiving, indexing and distributing news material to broadcasters who use MOS-compliant newsroom computer systems. DaletPlus News Library, combined with InterWeb, enables remote bureaus and journalists to fully leverage content and source materials.

New partner developments include support for the latest acquisition technology from Panasonic and Sony. DaletPlus maintains all associated P2 and XDCAM sourced metadata from ingest to archive. Dalet has added Apple Final Cut Pro integration, and at the core of the DaletPlus broadcast solutions is enhanced video server technology from Omneon and SeaChange.
