Digital Transaction Group launched the XE – eXtensible edition, automation and content lifecycle management software at NAB2005.

XE tracks content, programming and scheduling data. Its rules and policies automate workflow tasks based on user-defined criteria, and relationships between content, schedules, resources and devices. It also provides customers the ability to process, catalog and deliver content. It also provides access for repurposing and reuse.

DTG's new XE product provides broadcasters revolutionary new architecture going far beyond traditional automation. It offers a highly scalable, reliable and frame accurate solution using high quality off-the-shelf hardware, standard IT networking, and a high performance object relational SQL database.
