E-mediavision.com’s POINT-HD telestrator will be available as a packaged offering with the Telestration software and video frame buffer card for clients with existing computer workstations. This will complement its current fully configured POINT-HD system.
The POINT-HD telestrator, popular with sports and news presenters, currently uses the HP XW8400 series of workstations, which is the same platform used by Avid and Vizrt applications.
In addition, e-mediavision.com is releasing POINT-HD version 4, which will feature new functionality that allows live Internet webpages to be displayed in HD 720P/1080i/1080P in real time. This new Web tool allows the presenter to navigate the Web live in HD without using scan converters.
