The HD485 HD/SD closed-captioning encoder from EEG incorporates HD and SD video paths, a time code reader and a network-ready PC with software in a compact 1RU package. Specifically designed for the EEG CCPlay software suite, the HD485 simultaneously encodes HD VANC (CEA-708) and SD Line 21 (CEA-608) closed-captioning.
It supports all major caption file formats and a wide variety of HD transmission and mastering formats including 1080i, 720p, 480p and 24PsF.
