Developers can create new applications for Europa Australia’s Broadcast Platform card.
Europa Australia is releasing a software development kit (SDK) for the 4D Broadcast Platform in the fourth quarter of 2007. The 4D Broadcast Platform allows software developers to develop custom processing applications for serious broadcast applications.
The SDK will provide the tools necessary to develop SD and HD applications using industry-standard design entry processes such as Verilog, VHDL or schematic entry. Third-party advanced tools are also available for real-time hardware analysis or system simulation.
The 4D card has two SD/HD inputs and four SD/HD outputs. Applications include an SH/HD logo keyer, closed-captioning processor and HD VANC insertion.
The FCC has issued captioning requirements for all online video. Learn how to meet the requirements of the new rules and how to automate the technical process.
Video compression, editing and displays is an in-depth tutorial on MPEG compression technology, editing MPEG content and evaluating color video monitors written by long-time video expert, trainer and writer Steve Mullen, Ph. D.
