EVS’ Xedio combines CleanEdit with a multiformat production platform.

At IBC2009, EVS will raise the curtain on its new HD/SD modular system for news and sports production, XEDIO. The product integrates the latest version of EVS’ nonlinear editor, CleanEdit 3, and new hardware for multiformat HD/SD encoding and playout.

Xedio is designed for fast production of news and sports in any studio environment. Xedio can adapt to any type of multiformat HD/SD broadcast production infrastructure, covering all aspects of the workflow, such as feed acquisition, file ingest without transcoding, virtual production and editing, central media management and direct playout with no need for prior rendering.
