EVS has updated Multicam software with GigE connectivity.
EVS showed the latest software release for the XT[2] server platform, Multicam 9.00, at the recent Broadcast Live and Video Forum in London. With a new file architecture and GigE connectivity, Multicam 9.00 also offers additional enhancements to multiformat media exchange with third-party systems including storage, MAM and NLEs.
Also demonstrated was the latest IPDirector production software with a new series of tools offering intuitive control of media between XT[2] servers, or between the XT[2] and third-party craft editors.
