Front Porch Digital fuels archive system makeover for Lagardère Active

Front Porch Digital has announced that Lagardère Active, the broadcasting division of French media group Lagardère, has installed the company’s DIVArchive system as part of a major makeover of its A/V archive facilities.
Lagardère Active began with a phased migration a DIVArchive system, integrating it with a Sony automation system and video server with 100TB of storage on a Sun StorageTek library at the broadcaster’s Paris facility. In the most recent phase, Lagardère extended functionality of its archive system with the addition of a disaster recovery facility, based upon Front Porch Digital’s DIVAnet solution, which was implemented in February 2007.
