Harris NEXIO AMP supports expansion at Al-Jazeera Children’s Channel

The Harris NEXIO AMP advanced media platform has been installed at Al-Jazeera Children’s Channel to support the deployment of three new youth and family-oriented channels. JCC is a Doha, Qatar-based, all-Arabic language channel.
The installation includes four NEXIO AMP servers that are integrated into an existing NEXIO storage area network. The NEXIO AMP servers are used for playout of the new channels, while the existing SAN, which was expanded in both storage and port capacity, is used for ingest and content backup.
