Medway enables media files from multiple sources to be moved seamlessly among multiple vendor platforms without incurring bottlenecks in workflow caused by file incompatibility. AVI support for Medway has been developed in response to broadcasters’ requests for tighter integration between their existing broadcasting software applications and widely used products such as Adobe Premier. The new functionality will enable users to browse files using the .AVI format, and read and write them to a range of servers by rewrapping the media and its associated metadata.
