Mediapro's Spanish football channels choose vsnmulticom

Sports channels Real Madrid TV, Canal Barça TV and the new HD Mediapro channel Gol has selected vsnmulticom8 as their preferred automation solution.

Mediapro company Unitecnic is running the engineering project for the three channels. Renovation at Real Madrid TV has focused on the installation of a master control system based on vsnmulticom8, integrated with the traffic, rights management and planning solution vsncreaTV, which controls a VectorBox server.

The system at Canal Barça includes vsnmulticom and vsncreaTV as well as a wholly redundant system based on two EVS XT playout servers, a Pro-Bel Aurora router and Miranda branding; both vsn modules will communicate with an Ardendo archiving system.

The new HD channel Gol will use vsnmulticom8 automation, two EVS XT servers and Vizrt graphics integrated through control of secondary and auxiliary events. All intersite transfers are managed by the vsnmulticom transfer module.
