UK-based Mushroom TV has purchased another Vector 3 VectorBox solution to manage playout automation of its STARZ music channel. For the last six years, Mushroom TV has relied on Vector playout automation technology for multichannel playout management of various music channels including STARZ.
Starz is an interactive music channel in which viewers can request their favorite video clips via SMS. Mimicking the function of a jukebox, the playlist is dynamically generated based on viewer input. The VectorBox system manages the constant changing data instructions with ease, integrating graphics, titles and content on the fly for playout over the Sky Digital Network.
