Pebble Beach to showcase advanced features at IBC

Pebble Beach’s Neptune automation system now has increased capacity for large systems, providing virtually unlimited expansion, SNMP alarm alerts, improved media transcoder functions, comprehensive timers, extended search and replace functions and new drivers to support a range of additional devices.

Recent optimizations enable each device controller to manage up to 16 channels, 48 serial devices and 32 networked, controlled devices and GPIs. Multiple controllers can be added to control an almost limitless number of devices and channels.

Pebble Beach is introducing its integrated media transcode farm to flip high-resolution media in MPEG-2 or DV from high-resolution broadcast servers such as Omneon and Harris, to MPEG-1 or Windows Media 9.
