SGL announces integration with Final Cut Server

Sep 15, 2009 4:27 PM

Software Generation (SGL) has introduced integration between FlashNet and Final Cut Server, Apple’s media asset management solution for Final Cut Pro.

By adding SGL’s archive solution to the Final Cut Server environment, post-production facilities and broadcasters can significantly improve and speed up their workflows by managing the available free space on shared storage that is traditionally reserved for work in progress.

SGL also has introduced partial file restore for Sony’s XDCAM format. FlashNet 6.2 can now provide partial file restore directly from archived XDCAM files stored on linear data tape.
