Sony unveils new Anycast live production station

Sony's Anycast live production station will begin shipping this year.
Sony’s Anycast Station live content production system is expected to start shipping in Europe in March.

The Anycast Station combines a six-channel video switcher, a six-channel audio mixer, and a LCD monitor in one unit. It also incorporates Web-streaming functionality allowing both local and remote audiences to enjoy the same event. Video source material can be recorded onto external hard disk drives providing the ability to capture content for archive or PC editing later.

Weighing around 8lbs and having a compact briefcase size, the Anycast Station is extremely portable - ideal for moving from one event to another without the need for a large transportation or a flight case.

With S-video, composite, i-LINK and RGB inputs as standard, the system allows users to select between analog and digital sources.
