Volicon to show Observer RPM 800 at IBC2007

At IBC2007, Volicon will demonstrate the latest version of Observer, the RPM 800, which offers all the functionality of the RPM 200 and 400 models. Powerful processing increases the system's channel scanning to a rate of 72 channels per minute.

The Volicon Observer RPM suite was developed to help cable operators, IPTV service providers and broadcasters monitor the quality of their broadcasts in remote, unstaffed headend facilities and to help ensure the quality of content delivered within triple-play or other IP-based delivery models. Observer RPM monitors and records from one to 500 or more video channels for audio and video signal integrity and notifies the operator, by e-mail or SMS alert, if the signal does not conform to prespecified limits. Monitoring includes detection of low audio levels, frozen video and missing video.
