VRT selects Quintiq for staff and resource planning

In 2001, VRT launched an initiative to enhance and integrate the information provision in order to do more with the same number of employees. The broadcaster implemented a new ERP SAP solution, but the system was not able to meet all of the business requirements. As a result, it has recently incorporated Quintiq software for staff and resource planning.

The Quintiq system enables standardized resource planning; eases last minute changes during fast-breaking news events; and permits planners to log in from remote locations. Another reason for the Quintiq implementation was to streamline competency management.
