WCIU-TV receives digital makeover from DTG

WCIU-TV’s digital makeover is well underway for its six-channel operation in Chicago.

The Weigel Broadcasting station’s in-house engineering team has taken on the project and selected the Digital Transaction Group’s Xe automation system as a major part of the digital infrastructure and equipment upgrade for the station.

Xe, with its off-the-shelf architecture and small footprint, is based on the Microsoft XP platform and uses the Microsoft .NET framework and SQL Server 2000.
