Multiple timecodes in a single clip
May 1, 2008 The Editblog
I noticed something the other day. While doing some testing with RED footage I rendered a Quicktime of 3 shots out of RedCine. The usual way that I render out of RedCine is to have the app place all of the individual files into their own individual event folder. This keeps things nice and tidy. There Will Be Blood
April 30, 2008 Viewfinder BLUES
... Hustle is still required. Whether you’re rolling up on scene with a camcorder from the late 80’s or sportin’ every piece of gear your station will buy, doing it all is rarely pleasant and only occasionally pretty. A Reasonable View of Tomorrow
April 25, 2008 Terry Heaton's PoMo Blog
Media companies continue to reduce expenses in the wake of falling revenues, forcing newsroom restructuring on a fairly regular basis. Where this will end is anybody’s guess, and while some of it must be blamed on the economy, we all know that disruptive technologies and changing consumer behaviors are the biggest factors.

These are the Stock Answers to commonly asked questions that I post all over the forums. Some are dated, but are still useful and a lot are timeless. The Creative Cow calls them "the ULTIMATE FCP FAQ." Not sure if it is the ultimate (thanks guys), but it is pretty comprehensive.
