Binoculars, Scopes and Camera Viewfinder Effects for Final Cut Pro X

Ripple Training Releases Optics Plugin on FxFactory

Boston, MA – December 12, 2012 – Noise Industries, developer of visual effects tools for the post-production and broadcast markets, introduces Optics by Ripple Training to FxFactory. A plugin for Final Cut Pro X, Optics creates a first-person perspective of footage through popular viewfinder optics, including DSLR viewfinders, scopes and binoculars. Editors can choose from a set of 14 Title Effects and animate the focus, position and scale of the optics. Add thermal or night vision effects, and animate scan lines, flicker and roll for added drama. Users can also add a VShutter Flash in combination with camera viewfinders or on its own, as well as kaleidoscope effects. Ripple Training Optics is available now on FxFactory for 39 USD.

Ripple Training Optics features:

DSLR Camera Viewfinders:
Users can choose from three popular DSLR viewfinder types and control the HUD graphics including f-stop, ISO, exposure values and more for ultimate customization.

Binoculars: A set of four binoculars, editors can select which type best fits their footage, such as high-tech or classic view, and then add effects like Night Vision or Thermal imaging. Users can also change scale and distance between lenses or convert classic binoculars into a telescope.

Scopes: Scopes can be modified and animated and used with special effects like Night Vision. Editors can choose from four different Scopes and customize each to fit the look and feel of footage.
