Aspex Semiconductor has announced the availability of its Accelera HD MPEG-2 encoder solution, now integrated with the Adobe Production Studio suite.
The Aspex Accelera solution is a PCI-X plug-in card with 16,000 parallel processing elements.
Aspex and BlueFish444 have announced a certified solution for real-time HD video compression that allows users to ingest HD MPEG-2 streams from uncompressed HD-SDI sources such as HD cameras, tape decks, or nonlinear editing systems.
