The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) has announced the winners of its eighth annual Service to America Awards. Winners will be honored at the Service to America Awards Gala on Mon., June 12 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, DC. The celebration recognizes outstanding community service by local broadcasters.
The Service to America Awards is presented by the NABEF with major support from Bonneville International and the NAB. This year’s Leadership Award winner is former President William Jefferson Clinton. Gulf Coast broadcasters and broadcasters nationwide will be honored for their public service efforts before, during, and after Hurricane Katrina with the Samaritan Award.
