KTVB-TV enhances automation

KTVB-TV, the Belo-owned station in Boise, ID, has taken steps to enhance the automation capabilities of its multichannel operation.

Idaho’s NewsChannel 7 last month upgraded an existing Sundance Digital FastBreak automation system to a four-channel Titan configuration.

KTVB-TV’s new system includes TitanSync for redundancy, Intelli-Sat to manage satellite feed recording, and News Recorder to automatically record and segment newscasts for later replay. Titan also controls a Grass Valley Profile XP media platform.
