Megahertz Broadcast Systems has launched SMART SNG, a cost-effective satellite news gathering vehicle.

Based on a Mercedes Vito chassis, the compact truck incorporates a 1.5m satellite dish mounted on its roof, a diesel generator with an optional second generator for extra power and redundancy and a comprehensive baseband and RF package of the customer’s choice.

The SMART SNG vehicle is intended to provide a low-cost alternative to larger SNG vehicles that can be delivered quickly while still offering the ability to be customized for individual broadcasters.
