Adder has launched the AdderLink X-DVI extender to send both USB and DVI signals over the same Cat 6 cable.

The AdderLink X-DVI will support the extension of USB keyboards and mice and HD video over distances up to 165ft. The AdderLink X-DVI transfers DDC EDID information from the screen so that the video card is always set up perfectly.

The X-DVI interface can be powered at the computer end avoiding the need for additional power sockets. For video-only applications, an optional power supply can be purchased. The product is fully flash upgradeable.
