AZCAR extends 2GHz BAS training service agreement

AZCAR Technologies has extended its agreement with Sprint Nextel to provide specialized training services to more than 900 U.S. TV stations beyond 2008 and into the third quarter of 2009 with an option to extend to the end of the year.
The AZCAR Training Services (ATS) division has provided a comprehensive training service for U.S. broadcasters transitioning from analog electronic newsgathering (ENG) to digital ENG in the 2GHz Broadcast Auxiliary Service (BAS) band since early 2007.
