Frontline Communications unveils HD mast camera system

Frontline Communications showed its new HD-Series Mast at NAB2007.
Frontline Communications introduced the HD-Series Mast Cam, an HD mast camera designed to mount on a mobile broadcast vehicle, at NAB2007.
The HD-1 model includes a touch-screen controller that provides full CCU control. The HD-2 model uses a standard Frontline Communications controller as a lower cost alternative.
HD-1 Mast Cam features include:
1080i HD camera with Canon 20X zoom;
16:9 widescreen HD image with an HD-SDI output;
3-CCD pickup with 1/3in native 16:9 CCDs (14440 x 1080 each);
Super-range optical image stabilizer combining gyro and image sensors to help eliminate camera shake;
Instant auto focus combines an external AF sensor with Canon’s auto focus system to reduce focusing times;
