Streambox plays key role in honored CNN digital newsgathering system

Streambox is among the key partners behind the CNN digital newsgathering project that won a Technology & Engineering Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).
CNN received the Emmy for "development and implementation of an integrated and portable IP-based live, edit and store-and-forward digital newsgathering system." The 59th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards were presented Jan. 7 on the opening night of the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The Streambox ACT-L3 newsgathering solution played a key role in CNN's digital newsgathering project, enabling the network to deliver breaking news reports from around the world.
