Tanzanian broadcaster to acquire Comprompter NewsKing system

ITV in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, has entered into an agreement to acquire a Comprompter NewsKing newsroom system.
Coupled with the Video Technics NewsFlow video server/editing system, the new tapeless workflow will increase news programming output throughout Tanzania.
Slated for a fall installation, NewsKing will generate graphics directly from the scripts and control video playout from the newscast rundown. A pair of Video Technics Apella servers in a NewsFlow configuration will provide news and commercial content playout. Workstation editing and browsing allow multi-user nonlinear show preparation to occur throughout the facility.
