Aviation Research Group/U.S. offers safety audit standards for helicopters

Aviation Research Group/U.S. has developed a new series of on-site safety audit standards written specifically for helicopter operators.

The new standards recognize the unique operating conditions and challenges faced by helicopter operators. The requirements, which apply to virtually all helicopter operations, serve as the basis for each document. Additional standards that apply to electronic newsgathering (ENG) are incorporated into the documents.

ARG/U.S. began developing the new audit standards several months ago in response to industry demand for additional audit capability specific to the helicopter segment.
