ILC unveils NetLink ECP for remote facility management

Network control software developer ILC has introduced the NetLink Element Control Processor (ECP).
The compact, rugged appliance comes in a 1RU 19in rack mount package that integrates with ILC’s MaxView network control software. MaxView’s enterprise-class features enable operators to use the NetLink ECP to exert enterprise-class management control over limited numbers of mobile applications, equipment, remote offices and other smaller and more dispersed environments.
Scientific Games is one of ILC’s first customers to choose the NetLink ECP for mission-critical network monitoring. The company monitors 17 different trailers, each of which is responsible for uplinking satellite video. With a NetLink ECP at each site, the company can remotely monitor each trailer from its Technical Operations Center in Alpharetta, GA.
