Multidyne will unveil new 3G support for its LiGHTBoX fiber-optic field transport system at IBC2009.

MultiDyne Video and Fiber Optic Systems will showcase new features for its LiGHTBoX fiber-optic field transport system at IBC2009 next month in Amsterdam.

Addressing demands for fiber transport applications where battery-powered equipment is required, new features on the LiGHTBoX product include 3G capability. The LiGHTBoX is also now compatible and can be integrated with MultiDyne’s DVI-6000 and COMMS-2000.

COMMS-2000 provides a two-to-four-wire bridge for intercom applications. The DVI-6000 supports transport of DVI-I, RGB-HV and DVI-D over one fiber.
