New Ikegami cameras offer field, studio solution

The Ikegami HC-D57 uses 2/3in IT CCDs and the HC-D57W employs 2/3in AIT CCDs.
The Ikegami HC-D57 and HC-D57W are portable digital processing cameras that use a new 12-bit digital processing integrated circuit.

Compatible with the TA/BS-45 triax system, the HC-D57 and HC-D57W maintain flexibility for studio and field productions. The cameras offer both broadcast grade picture quality and studio system expansion.

All processing pre-knee is digitized, providing stable, high-quality pictures. Processing such as Gamma and DTL signals are performed digitally with up to 30-bit internal quantization.

The HC-D57 uses 2/3in IT CCDs with 410,000 pixels(NTSC)/470,000 pixels(PAL). The HC-D57W employs 2/3in AIT CCDs with 520,000 pixels(NTSC)/600,000 pixels(PAL). The cameras offer sensitivity of F11 at 2000 lux. A greater depth-of-field facilitates simple focusing.
