News-Press & Gazette to add Sundance Digital automation

News-Press & Gazette, a family-owned communications company in St. Joseph, MO, has selected Sundance Digital as its vendor for automation solutions at a number of its television stations.

Sundance Digital will supply FastBreak NXT packages to automate News-Press Gazette’s spot insertion, program playout and satellite recording processes.

KVIA-TV, the ABC affiliate for El Paso, TX, will receive the first Sundance Digital system with an on-air date scheduled for Sept. 1. KTVZ in Bend, OR, and KECY-TV in Yuma, AZ, will follow later in the year.

News-Press & Gazette’s FastBreak NXT automation packages will include Intelli-Sat to manage satellite feed recording and ListSync redundancy. FastBreak NXT blends Windows shortcuts and navigation techniques into a customizable, automation-centric framework.
