Nucomm CamPac transmitter offers compact COFDM performance

The Nucomm CamPac is a miniature 2GHz and 6/7GHz COFDM wireless camera transmitter designed to deliver full broadcast quality in a small, lightweight and rugged aluminum case.

The transmitter mounts to the back of professional portable video cameras with a standard Anton/Bauer battery clip or Sony V Clip. Other applications for the CamPac transmitter include security and race-cam environments.

The CamPac offers a small footprint and low power consumption. It uses 12W of power at an output level of 0.5W, thus extending battery life. A low-power mode reduces the output to 0.25W. One watt output is available as an option.

The less than 2lb CamPac supports NTSC and PAL and integrates a 4:2:2/4:2:0 MPEG-2 encoder and a COFDM modulator for multi-path free transmission/reception.
